Five Christmas Craft Projects You’ll Sleigh
Christmas is a time when almost everyone, especially those who do not normally touch anything creative, get crafty!
It’s really quite unavoidable as even wrapping a present is considered a craft in my eyes! (who doesn’t love matching their foil bows to their wrap colour and making sure the wrapping is as precise as an origami folded crane…I’m glad it’s not just me!)
So this Christmas I have put together the best 5 Christmas Craft projects I’ve seen this season. I hope next year I’ll have a little more time to blog about my own!
GRAPHIC TYPOGRAPHY STOCKINGS by Studio DIY
How funky are these with customised graphic lettering! Studio DIY give easy step-by-step instructions for you to creates these sick-as stockings! Images via Studio DIY
DISCO BALL WREATH
by Beautiful Mess
Kick-off Christmas with this bling-ful wreath hanging on your door and make sure guests know they are in for a treat! Elise Larson from Beautiful Mess does it again with her projects that are full of shine and sparkle! Images via A Beautiful Mess
TYPOGRAPHIC GIFT TAGS
By Oh Happy Day
Jordan Ferney from Oh Happy Day blog, makes these Typography Tags looks oh-so-merry! I love the use of non-traditional colours and personalising with each person’s monogram. If you are short on time, this would be easy to do with any scrap booking sticker letters too. Images via Oh Happy Day
Animal Gift Wrapping
by Kikki K
When it comes to DIY wrapping inspiration, you can’t go past Swedish stationery guru, Kikki K! This year they’ve made it easy to add some creativity to your wrapping, with their Paper Lover’s Book and mini greeting card range, along with step-by-step blog posts. Images via Kikki K.
GLITTER CONES
BY Martha Stewart
How glam are these glitter cones! The original tutorial uses them as a form of advent calendar, but I like the idea of just making them for tableware decor or centre pieces. Loving the subtle colour palette too with silver, pewter and hints of opulent greens. Images via Martha Stewart.
I hope everyone had a wonderful, Glitter-filled, Crafty Christmas this year! I’ll be back in the new year, sharing more inspiration and making more things to share!
